Those are warning because you don't send the correct number of args to a proc in index.html.erb.

So this time it worked? I see all processes were stopped.

Thin (1.0) does not set the date header. According to the HTTP 1.1 spec:

Origin servers MUST include a Date header field in all responses, except in these case...

I was setting a response.header to something that wasn't a string.

defaulting to localhost sounds like the most obvious thing to do.

a simple workaround is to prepend ./ to the socket name you want to use if no slash is in the filename already, eg.:

thin start --socket ./sockfile
